Rewarding night for the Bulls
Super Bowl Sunday was a night which will be remembered by many people for many things. Tom Brady not pulling the game out the fire for once. The Giants creating one of the biggest upsets of all time. But in Birmingham , the night belonged to several people who received their awards for their efforts last year and for many years before that.
The Bulls most valuable player awards were presented by director of football , Chris Cunnane and general manager , Steve HOUSE Hannington.
The first award for offensive player of the year was for standout quarterback , Stuart Ennis. We hope Stuart has a great 2008 behind an improved offensive line and we all wish him well with his upcoming wedding.
The defensive player was an easier choice this year , as one of the front runners , Brendan Cunnane had an injury plagued season , but his partner in destruction , middle linebacker , Matt ( MJ ) Jones was as impressive as ever.
The final award was a split decision with the awards committee , so it was given twice .
The overall most valuable player awards went to Roberto Monfardini and Mark Pagett. Both guys had played all season on both sides of the trenches and had shown the guts and determination that the Bulls are recognised across Europe for.
The Bulls have added considerable depth to their talented squad already this off season and the competition for next years awards will be red hot. We will announce more details on this website soon.
