Bulls Awards Night Confirm The Arrow Is Pointing Up
Saturday 17th October saw the Birmingham Bulls come together in celebration of its players at the 2009 Season Awards at Power League, Aston.

staff.
Setting out his plans for the next three years, recently instated Head Coach Colin Branagh said:
“I’ve got a lot of expectations for the coming season. We’ve got a number of good coaches being put in place and come February, with a solid off season behind us, it will be about hard work.”
Before awarding the players player award, General Manager Andy Willis added:
“It’s been a pleasure helping the team achieve what it has this season. The foundation has been laid for a successful 2010 season in the BAFL.”
Running back Leon Williamson, who was honoured with both the Player’s Player Award & Most Improved Player, said:
“It’s brilliant to be put forward for the award by my team mates. I’m like a lot of Birmingham Bulls players; I do what I can to help the team, I run hard, I hit hard!!!
“I know that, with the core of players we now have, and with new players joining all the time, we can be an excellent team next year.”

Rookie MVP - Tom Durn
Lineman MVP - Matthew “Munz” Munslow
General Manager’s MVP - Brendan Cunnane
Head Coach’s MVP - Jon Bartley



Focus for the coming months will be on securing sponsors to join the Birmingham Bulls family and recruiting new talent for the club’s senior, youth and cheerleading squads. “Whether you’re an experienced player or just want to try something new, we want to hear from you.” said club chairman Brendan Cunnane.
