Big signing for the Bulls
The Birmingham Bulls are delighted to announce the signing of two new offensive linemen to the club.
The first new member is Brendan Woulfe (Pictured Right). Brendan is 22 years old and lives in Wolverhampton. He was a standout member of the Tarannau Aberystwyth University team from 2003 to 2008.
He also represented the BCAFL Southern Wildcats in 2007 and starred in the Great Britain Bulldogs team who travelled to Norway and defeated the Oslo Vikings.
General Manager Steve “House“ Hannington said “ we have been trying to get Brendan to play for us for a while now and we have finally got our man. He has good size and speed and has a great attitude towards the game and has fitted in with the squad just great. A lot of the guys know him from the university scene and I am sure he will prove to be a great asset and go on to join the long list of excellent offensive linemen that the Bulls have produced over the last 25 years.”
The second new member to join the Bulls is 20 year old Gregory Patrzalek (Pictured Left), who is from Kielce in Poland. Greg has played in the Polish league for Torpedo Lodz and has also gained experience with Berlin Adler of the GFL.
Standing at 6`6 and weighing in at 325lbs, he will add size and power to a new look offensive line for 2008. The Bulls will also announce further new signings during the next couple of weeks.
House, Bulls GM said “Greg is a big guy who is a raw talent that we are looking to develop along with several other guys for this year. We are developing a squad based around young, [ talent, who have the desire to win and succeed.”
